Moore is the Council on Aging’s 2017 Outstanding Professional in Aging Award Winner

Rhonda Moore, executive director of Pro Seniors, has been selected the Council on Aging’s 2017 Outstanding Professional in Aging Award Winner!  The Outstanding Professional in Aging honors leaders in the field of aging who have made a significant contribution to services for older adults and their families in Southwestern Ohio.

Moore has been the executive director of Pro Seniors since January 2001.  Under her leadership, Pro Seniors has grown in stature and services, adding a program, increasing staff, and conducting a legal needs study of Ohioans to help every organization that serves seniors.

Moore will be honored at the Council on Aging Annual Meeting on Wednesday, March 15, 2017, at 11:30 a.m., at the Sharonville Convention Center, 11355 Chester Road, 45246.  The meeting will include a buffet lunch, highlights of the 2016 Annual Report from the Council on Aging’s CEO, the awards ceremony, and a keynote address on Transforming Trauma from Laura van Dernoot Lipsky.  Tickets are $25, and you can register at www.help4seniors.org.
